I have something more to add to the women who have read the last entry and are thinking about their health but before that I wanted to share something that happened over the weekend. It got me thinking…well, about the future. When is the future? In my opinion it is Now. While surfing the channels, my husband happened to catch the movie review. The movie revolved around the future and how its going to be destroyed. After that there ensued a long discussion about what we would do. The elder one added more gory ideas….ah! the young mind!! My little one, who is so into ‘writting’ (note: scribbling)these days, was frantically taking down the elder one’s words! Having been silent all that time my husband asked me what I thought of the movie. Would all this really happen? I simply said “It depends on you”. My husband and elder one looked at each other and shot back “What is that supposed to mean?”
What we think today, in the now, is what we are going to see manifested later. The movie was cashing in on the fear of the masses. Just as my family was thinking about the horrors the future could hold, so many others all over would have discussed it too. More fear feelings would have been fed to the existing fear thought. Imagine how much more energy we all would have fed that thought. Movies reach out to public and does affect society and it sure contributes to our thought process.
If the movie really wanted to help society and our dear planet Earth then my suggestion would have been like this…If the first half of the movie showed all the possible eventualities(which is afterall a figment of someone’s imagination), the second half could have focussed on how we humans could combine the force of our thoughts and save the Earth instead of praying and waiting for death!
It’s so easy to cash in on fear. It’s so easy to let the doctor treat us instead of listening to our own bodies(and catch ourselves before we fall ill). It’s so easy to give responsibility to a holy man to get us across the ocean of emotions instead of listening to our own divine selves. It’s so easy to get bugged with people talking ‘positive thinking’ than actually catching ourselves when we think harmful for ourselves and others. It’s so easy to say he/she does not love me when we dont know how to love ourselves first!
We are our future. The future is now. What we think now is what we see later. The future depicted in the movie depends on us and our thinking today. So, imagine, visualize a future that is perfect for you. For, if it is perfect for you then it has to be safe for all of us too.
Together lets visualize our destined divine future….from the lotus pond.
